Application for Membership

Priority Application Deadline for Fall 2019:  May 15, 2019

The Fall 2019 class is now full and we are not accepting applications at this time.  Please contact us if you have questions.

Applications for Fall 2020 admission may be submitted beginning January 1, 2020. Priority deadline for membership is May 15, 2020.

To participate in the program, entering freshmen must have an ACT composite score of 26 or higher OR a high school GPA of 3.5 or better. Students transferring from other colleges or ESU students who have completed at least one semester of college must have a GPA of 3.5 or better.

Applicants must also write two short essays of about 300 words each. The first must describe what you hope to gain from participation in the Honors College and what you might contribute. The second should describe what being an agent of change for the common good means to you.

The Honors College at Emporia State University will prepare students to be agents of change for the common good in their respective communities.
